Bought these for my sun who is quite slim but tall. Measured him beforehand. Figured they would be a little big on the waist but not fit another person in the trousers big. They were massive. Good leg length but even with a belt they arr falling down. The brands really do run in different cuts, even if the size is the same, so please be aware of his. If baggy is your thing then these are fine.
Cons: waist is huge
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
