NO elastic in the waist, these pants truly had no fit to my waist, the waist hung down at least 4 inches all around. The material was nice. I was truly sadden by the quality of the fit.
Pros: Quality Fabric
Cons: Poor Fit, Inseam Too Short
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This leggings are very nice although they run a little large.
I wear a 1x and I had to order a extra large.
