It seems to be the brand "basic essentials" in general that run on the larger side; they're also UNtrue to color. I bought 5 different pair of "basic essential" jeans (skinny, corduroy, denim, etc) and it all remains the same: they run big and the colors are not true to order. Being 5'10 and curvy though, I can appreciate a pant that hits my ankles with just enough length.

the jean color is amazing and the run true to size. great jeans
