These are designed as sneakers with and extra hi-top. The strap is excessive. but it is stylish. Also the extra high top is EXTRA. good ankle support if you are having ankle problems (like me). Very comfortable. No problems with "breaking in". If you want the extra cool highest rating go with Coogi.
Pros: high ankle support
Cons: medium cool
